The Waterford Mental Health Association provide an essential service known as the “Waterford Befriending Service” which aims to help those experiencing mental health difficulties and issues.
In line with World Mental Health Day, they decided to run an event to raise vital funds to keep their befriending service and other vital services running.
Therefore, on the 15th of October 2016, the Waterford Mental Health Association ran “A night at the dogs” in Kilcohan Park, Waterford City where different businesses were given the opportunity to sponsor a race.
LCE both sponsored a race at the event and supported the event by the team attending and taking part in the night. Great fun was had by all!
We wish the Waterford Mental Health Association the best of luck going forward and would like to thank them for their work.
