The Health & Safety Basics for Employees training course is an intensive 1 day that course covers all the basic training requirements for new and existing employees.

It encapsulates Manual Handling training, fire safety training, fire extinguisher use, computer workstation setup, safety awareness training, safety legislation training in one cost effective course either as an induction training course or as a refresher course.

  • Workplace hazard identification
  • Preventing accidents at work
  • Dynamic manual materials handling
  • Working with computers – VDU workstation set up
  • Fire safety and fire extinguisher use

On completion of the course delegates should:

  • Have completed their mandatory Manual Handling training course
  • Be aware of how they need to contribute to workplace safety
  • Understand fire safety and the practical use of fire extinguishers
  • Understand their legal obligations relating to safety at work
