LCE Public Training Course Bookings

Booking any one of our courses is subject to the following terms and conditions:

    1. Bookings are to be made in advance and an invoice will be issued
    2. Payment must be received in full prior to the commencement of the programme

If for whatever reason you have to cancel the course giving:

    1. More than 1 weeks’ notice, no fees apply

If you cancel:

    1. between 2 and 4 whole working days before the course starts – 50% refund of fees paid
    2. less than 2 whole working days’ notice – 0% refund of fees paid
    3. A no-show constitutes full payment
    4. Notification of any cancellation must be in writing by email FAO the Training Manager to the following email address: info@LCE.ie
    5. A substitute attendee may attend the course at no extra cost

If LCE change or cancel a course:

    1. LCE reserves the right to change or cancel the course. The type of courses offered necessitates a degree of flexibility on both sides.
    2. Amend the course structure, content or syllabus
    3. Amend the individuals responsible for organising or delivering the course, including without limitation the tutors
    4. Alter the course timetable
    5. Courses require a minimum attendance and LCE reserves the right to cancel or postpone the course if the minimum required number of attendees for the course has not been reached.

LCE will endeavour to notify the attendees about cancellations, postponements and amendments to the course with as much notice as reasonably possible.
In the event of cancelling a course, attendees will be offered alternative course dates or a full refund.

Hardcopy Certificate

On successful completion of your course you will be awarded with a Certificate of attendance from LCE Training Academy. You can expect to receive this within 3-5 working days of your course completion date.

Reprint of Certificate

In the event that you may need a replacement copy of your certificate then a fee of €10.00 will be charged (includes postage).

Health and Safety

Attendees shall comply with all applicable health and safety legislation and codes of practice in the LCE Training Academy.

LCE Room Hire Bookings

Room booking enquiries can be made over the phone or by emailing info@LCE.ie and a booking form will be sent out to confirm the room reservation.

The booking from should outline the following details:

    1. Time and date of booking
    2. Number of attendees
    3. Contact person
    4. Lunch/break TIMES and OPTIONS – PLEASE try to adhere to these times where possible in order to maintain smooth running of the training academy.
    5. ANY special or additional requirements that you have in terms of dietary requirements or technical specifications and LCE will endeavour to facilitate these when and where possible.

Room hire bookings should be confirmed at the latest, 24 –hours prior to start date in order to finalise numbers. This applies in particular to the hot lunch options so that we can ensure the food preference for your group.

Room bookings can only be held for a maximum of 48 hrs without a PO or payment in advance – after 48 hrs we can no longer guarantee your booking

  • Final payment is due on day of room hire or, if a PO has been received in advance, on receipt of invoice
  • We recognise that business needs change and there may be a requirement to cancel bookings at short notice. Such cancellations of room hire will be accommodated, however, if your booking included HOT FOOD on site – this is provided by an external supplier and cancellation fees apply – 100% for cancellations made within 2 working days of booked date.

Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.

Although LCE is continually monitoring our network for security threats, we would like to remind all attendees that our Guest Wi-Fi is shared, and that each attendee should ensure that they have adequate protection on their own devices before connecting to the shared network. LCE will not be liable for loss or damage of data and/or hardware arising data transmissions received via the shared network, and provide no guarantee against threats that may be transmitted on the shared network.

Health and Safety

Attendees shall comply with all applicable health and safety legislation and codes of practice in the LCE Training Academy.

Resolving Disputes

LCE will endeavour to resolve an disputes in a fair manner within a reasonable time-frame. Any complaints that may arise should be directed to LCE at the email info@LCE.ie, or alternatively by post to our main office address found here. LCE will review the complaint and issue an appropriate response by your original message method on a case by case basis.

Should the dispute remain unresolved, consumers within the European Union have access to the Online Dispute Resolution Service, a single point of contact for all trading disputes both domestic and cross border. The EU Online Dispute Resolution Service can be found here.
