Safety Representative Training

This three-day course is designed to outline the role and function of the Safety Representative and to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to carry out their role effectively. The content of this course fully conforms to the guidance set by the Health and Safety Authority.

Overview

Employees are entitled to select a Safety Representative, who is the liaison between management and employees on health and safety matters. Safety Reps should attend training in order to promote active worker engagement in safe work procedures and to develop a committee to review these safety procedures.
