Overview

ATEX refers to the hazard of explosive atmospheres occurring in the workplace due to the presence of flammable gasses or combustible dust mixed in air, which can give rise to the risk of explosion.

The Introduction to ATEX training course is designed to give a participant knowledge on the EU ATEX directives, applicable legislation and how to identify, classify and manage ATEX areas of their workplace.

This half day course is intended for anyone responsible for process safety in ATEX areas, including Safety Officers, Process Engineers, Technicians Engineering Managers, Production Managers & EHS Managers.

We can carry this training out in person at your site, our training academy or any third party location anywhere in Ireland.
